The Arc, Warren County Chapter, Inc. is dedicated to helping people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities to live a good life--one where they have a chance to fulfill their potential, make choices, be as independent as possible, work, make friends and otherwise blend into society. We are also committed to assisting families to solve the challenges associated with the care of their family members with such disabilities. As an advocacy organization, we work to create the kind of society where the people we serve are accepted and respected.

Individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities will be supported to achieve, make choices, be as independent as possible, work, make friends and otherwise enhance society.
Our History
The Arc, Warren County Chapter was founded in 1954 by parents, educators, and other interested individuals who recognized the need for a comprehensive program of service and support for their children who had intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The Arc today serves more than 1,100 people annually. This number includes persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their family members. Countywide programs include community living arrangements, recreation, day programs, community based support, advocacy, early intervention, and a wide range of social services.

The Arc in Warren County is part of a state and national Arc network of providers who offer quality services and programs through 700 chapters across the United States each year.

Funding for The Arc programs is made available through Medicaid, the New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), the New Jersey Department of Human Services, the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services (Project First Step), the Warren County Board of Chosen Freeholders and through private and corporate donations.
