In 2014, Graham Rihn believed there had to be a better way to improve the outdated, expensive, and inefficient process of commercial recycling and waste management. From this belief, RoadRunner was born.
RoadRunner is fueled by passion and purpose to reinvent recycling and transform the waste industry toward a more sustainable future. We do this through a dedicated team that shares our core values:

RoadRunner has expanded rapidly to over 500 employees, successfully achieved new growth in 20 operating markets, and acquired the funding to continue this momentum even further. RoadRunner has secured $70M in funding in a Series D investment round led by global growth equity firm General Atlantic. With the new funding, we intend to broaden our footprint across the nation while simultaneously developing and deploying new technologies that aim to fix a waste and recycling industry mired by inefficiency and staggering costs.

We’re looking for motivated individuals to join our team in various positions, but especially on our Sales Teams. Over the past 8 years, we have worked hard to create a culture of supportive and high-energy individuals. As a Pittsburgh “Best Places to Work” Business, we think we’ve nailed it. Interested applicants should review our core values closely and understand that we hold these as the standard of everyday interactions.
Qualifications will vary by position, but here are some basics:
* A college/university degree
* Great communicator
* Creative problem-solver

All new Sales recruits receive 9 weeks of training to ensure you are confident in your skillset, market knowledge, and coaching to flourish here at RoadRunner. Our ongoing guidance and training are so comprehensive that team members typically advance 2 to 3 times within their first year!
