About Shooting Stars Nurseries
After 13 years, Shooting Stars Nurseries is re-branding to better communicate and showcase who we are and what we do.
When you visit us online or in person over the coming months, you will notice some things look a little different as we move forward and develop. But rest assured, we haven’t forgotten our origins, traditions and values that underpin who we are.
So look out for the new Shooting Stars brand making an appearance at nursery and online this Autumn. Look out for further information about how we developed our new brand coming soon on social media. We hope you like it!

Hello, my name is Anne-Marie I am currently Pre-Toddler Room Leader. I started my journey at Shooting Stars in January 2017 as a Nursery Nurse in the Preschool room, where I gained experience and had lots of fun with the older children in the nursery. I wanted to further my career and was able to progress to become the Pre-Toddler Room Leader. I spent 2 fantastic years playing with the younger children and supporting my staff team, then fell pregnant with my son, Mason who I had in October 2021. I had an amazing year off watching my son grow and and have now brought him on my journey into nursery. Coming back off maternity leave I have fitted straight back in, just like I haven’t been away. I will shortly be moving rooms and am very excited to start a new journey by becoming the Toddler Room Leader. I am going to miss the Pre Toddlers, but I'm very excited for new challenges and to get to know the toddler children and team.

Team Break Out Room: We provide a dedicated, relaxing environment for you to enjoy some calm on your well-earned break and re-charge your batteries ready for an afternoon of play.
Free food and drink: Our on-site chef cooks fresh, healthy and delicious meals for the children and our team, and we encourage Team Members to share a family-style lunch with the children. We've also included a variety of flavoured teas, hot drinks and fruit juice in the Team Break Out Room, plus a breakfast/snack station to make sure everyone is fuelled and raring to go!

I started my Shooting Stars journey in 2010 as a Preschool Nursery Practitioner at Stourbridge before being promoted to Room Leader. I was then offered Deputy Manager (maternity cover) at the Wolverhampton nursery, before later transferring to Bromsgrove as Deputy Manager in 2016 when it opened its doors. I was promoted to Nursery Manager at Bromsgrove in 2021.
I have recently celebrated 12 years at Shooting Stars and am really proud of what I have achieved in that time. Shooting Stars has always given me the support I need to take the next steps in my career, whether that be enabling a move ‘sideways’ or ‘upwards’ or simply helping me to be the best I can be in my role. Shooting Stars has also always offered training in important and interesting areas, ensuring I have the knowledge and skills I need to excel. These include DSL, Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding & Child Protection, Food Hygiene, CSE, Prevent, FGM, Promoting Positive Behaviour, Sign-along, English as an Additional Language and Strong Leadership to name but a few! I have recently completed an inspiring Mental Health First Aid training course too, which has equipped me with the skills and confidence I need to better support the wellbeing of my amazing team at Shooting Stars Bromsgrove.
